My research area involves topics like (a) interpersonal communication (e.g., control strategies, ijiri, Japanese vernacular term), (b) implicit measurement (e.g., Implicit Association Test), (c) pedagogy in an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) context, (d) social-emotional learning and education in a digital world, (e) implicit attitudes toward sports and exercise, (f) social skills assessment, (g) social skills training using interactive video, (h) emerging adulthood in contemporary youth experience.
